In class, there was one group that drew a picture of a marionette. I believe that this is a very accurate of what the Ickys had on their hosts. The main character was nothing without his Icky and had no musical talent without it. The Icky would attach to his brain and make him play the notes. It was a symbiotic relationship and the Icky received enjoyment from the music he created while the character received fame and glory. The Icky also created its host’s personality as well. There was another character that also had an Icky and enjoyed to travel because of his Icky.

This story was close to our xenophobia talks because the main characters father hated the icky for the reason that it wasn't human and was just a slug.
The icky as an organism is very interesting because they move from human to human learning from them and living with them in harmony; our character ran into another man with an icky and he said that it almost took him all over the world.

I liked the "Muse" story a lot because this creature gives you skils when he is attached to you. I thunk it would be sweet to have an icky that helped me play instroments. You just have to let him attach him self to your back and yuo got skills. I would want to become the best pianists in the world and write beautiful music like Beethoven. Or i would want to know how to play the guitar like Jimmy hendrix. thats why i liked the "Muse" story.
